ORIGIN OF THE GRAPES: Ay, Chouilly. Hand-picked and traditionally vinified in stainless steel vats. Produced only when the vintage is excellent.
AGEING: 36 months on the lees. Aging: at least 6 years. Dosage: 6 g/liter. Formats: 0.75 l and Magnum in 19th-century bottles.
CHARACTERISTICS: 50% Chardonnay from Chouilly and 50% Pinot Noir.
APPEARANCE: Bright gold color
TASTING NOTES: Bright topaz yellow color. Full-bodied and complex with aromas of dried flowers, carnations, and apple compote. Full-bodied with delicate floral and ripe fruit aromas. IDEAL FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS, RED MEATS, AND APERITIFS.
